Our Divine Savior, Chico, CA
Candy and Mark Priano will share their walk with the Lord before and after their daughter Kristie went to Heaven. Then, Candy will give her presentation, "Faith: Before and After Tragedy," focusing on how Kristie lived her life. Just 15 years old, Kristie led a full and very giving life. She reached out to others in need, served many volunteer roles, and spread her joy throughout her home and community. Candy will read several entries from Kristie's personal journals. Candy will share both her own and Kristie's walk with the Lord. A brief part of this presentation includes information about the Chico police chase that ended with the fleeing driver slamming into the Prianos' family van right where Kristie was sitting. Kristie's seatbelt was still wrapped around her body when paramedics removed her from the van that was now on its side some 40 feet from the intersection.
